Every child has a right to an education. You can make it happen
In Uganda, children of school going age drop out of school due to absence of a school meal, a pencil, a book and a mathematical set. Even with government support through UPE & USE ( Universal Primary Education and universal Secondary Education) alot is left to be desired. Children study on empty stomachs for a full day and that makes them hate school, they even spend days off school when a book gets used up, a pencil and a pen are also hard to come by. WHO WE ARE
We are a group of young men who are passionate about education, we believe that the few successes that we have been able to accomplish is because we were able to go to school, we want to make that a possibility to every child and that cannot be possible single handedly, we realised that this can be afforded through a joint force of a team of pledgers,
Each pledger makes a pledge that becomes a commitment to them for a specific time that they deem fit, it could even be a lifetime pledge, after pledging we issue a pledge certificate that ensures that you have accepted to willfully give a specific and well stipulated amount every stipulated time.
Pledges made are personal commitments towards a common cause which making education affordable and enjoyable by learners from poor communities.
Surprisingly we accept pledges from as low as 100 Uganda Shillings( the price of a pencil in Uganda). That is who we are, we will be glad if you join us.
